Kya Crafts is one of our upliftment and skills development projects.
The project empowers ladies in the informal settlement of Kya Sands with gaining financial independence and management skills through crocheting projects.

Project Purpose is a non-profit organisation that aims to help individuals find their purpose and end the cycle of poverty, by utilizing educational opportunities and skills development with a personal relationship-based approach.
The focus is to provide a hand up rather than a handout.
Project Purpose works on a project basis where each project can be viewed on the website and relevant social media pages. Each project outlines a cause and tells the story of the individual(s) that require assistance, as well as the various resources needed to provide adequate solutions. The public is encouraged to invest in a project by:
- sharing their skills, network, or resources
- volunteering their time
- contributing financially
